Tumblr to WordPress Migration
You may have heard that Tumblr is making some major changes to their services- changes that could affect up to 90% of current Tumblr blogs! If you think your Tumblr blog is in danger of deletion, then you need to act now before you lose all of the content you’ve created and shared with the interwebs.

I have been migrating sites for years. Some bloggers are too busy or just don’t want to take the time to learn all of the technical ins and outs for themselves, so they rely on someone (me!) who has the knowledge to move their site safely and quickly.
Where to?
WordPress is the industry standard for great blogs. You can choose a free site on wordpress.com, or you can become self-hosted with the WordPress.org platform. I can help you set up either option. Here is some information that might help you choose:
WordPress.com
Pros: free or upgrade to an inexpensive plan, simple to learn and use
Cons: not self-hosted so you have less control over your content
WordPress.org
Pros: self-hosted so you own your site/content, lots of customization options, custom domain
Cons: has the potential to be overwhelming, must pay for hosting plan ($50-75 per year)

How much?
For Tumblr to WordPress transfers, I have two packages to choose from:
Basic Package- $30
- Basic set up of WordPress.com website
- Transfer all Tumblr content to WordPress site
- Up to 3 graphics uploaded, including a site header
- Answers to questions and assistance as needed
Premium Package- $170*
- FREE first year of web hosting with Bluehost
- FREE custom domain
- Installation of WordPress.org on your custom domain
- FREE premium Genesis theme and install/set-up
- Transfer all Tumblr content to self-hosted WordPress site
- Choice of color palette
- Up to 3 graphics uploaded, including a site header
- Basic set up of up to 6 categories
- Basic set up of up to 3 pages
- Answers to questions and assistance as needed
*With the Premium package you will be purchasing at least one year’s worth of hosting, but I am offering a free year of hosting by taking the usual cost ($72) out of my fee. So you will pay for a year of hosting ($72 for one year, or there are discounts if you pay for multiple years at a time. I will still discount by the full $72!) and then you will only pay $98 to me for the premium package.
